Tennis holds a special place in college sports.

Many champions have taken this path before shining on the professional circuit: James Blake, John Isner, Nicole Gibbs, Danielle Collins, Kevin Anderson, and CiCi Bellis, to name a few. Their journeys prove that combining a prestigious education with athletic excellence is a powerful springboard to success.

When it comes to opportunities, men’s programs typically offer 4 to 5 full scholarships, while women’s teams can provide up to 8 full rides. College tennis offers a unique environment to sharpen your talent, compete at the highest level, and prepare for a strong academic future.

College Tennis Excellence

With around 20 hours of tennis and physical training per week, the main season takes place during the spring semester, from January to May. Teams compete with the goal of winning the Conference Championship and ultimately aiming for the prestigious National Championship at the end of the season.

The fall semester, running from late August to early November, marks a break from team tournaments and shifts the focus to individual competitions.
